A Resolution of the Gainesville City Commission Declaring a Climate Emergency (B) This is a request for the City Commission to adopt a resolution of the City Commission of the City of Gainesville, Florida, declaring a climate emergency, urging the State of Florida and the United States Government to declare a climate emergency, and requesting regional collaboration on a transition plan and emergency mobilization effort to restore a safe and sustainable climate; further directing the City Clerk to send a copy of this resolution to the Officials.
