- PROPOSAL APPROVAL - US ECOLOGY TAMPA, INC. - RESOLUTION 2024-50 APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM US ECOLOGY TAMPA, INC., A REPUBLIC SERVICES COMPANY, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000, FOR THE PROCESSING OF HAZARDOUS WASTE BY WAY OF A PIGGYBACK PURCHASE TO THE ALACHUA COUNTY, FLORIDA CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Approves a proposal from US Ecology Tampa, Inc. <em>in an amount not to exceed $40,000</em> for the processing of hazardous waste for the 2024 Hazardous Waste Cleanup & Recycle Event by way of a piggyback purchase to the Alachua County, Florida contract.
