A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DORAL, FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO SECTION 2-322 OF THE CITY’S CODE OF ORDINANCES, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF INTERIOR FURNITURE FOR THE DORAL CENTRAL PARK COMMUNITY CENTER FROM JC WHITE IN THE AMOUNT OF $456,475.65, PLUS A 10% CONTINGENCY FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $502,123.22; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH JC WHITE FOR THE PURCHASE; PARTIALLY WAIVING COMPETITIVE BIDDING PURSUANT TO SECTION 2-321 OF THE CITY’S CODE OF ORDINANCES AS IT PERTAINS TO OPEN MARKET ITEMS AND LABOR; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXPEND BUDGETED FUNDS IN FURTHERANCE HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR IMPLEMENTATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
