MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution to place a proposed amendment to the Broward County Charter on the ballot for the November 3, 2026, General Election, which, if approved by the electorate, would amend Section 4.01 of the Broward County Charter to allow the Board of County Commissioners to select the County Auditor from three candidates, the title of which is as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR A REFERENDUM ELECTION AT THE GENERAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 3, 2026, TO DETERMINE WHETHER TO AMEND THE BROWARD COUNTY CHARTER TO ALLOW THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO SELECT THE COUNTY AUDITOR FROM AMONG THREE CANDIDATES.
