A. MOTION TO APPOINT AND APPROVE members of the Board of County Commissioners to the Auditor selection committee (“Committee”) for the selection of an independent certified public accounting (“CPA”) firm to conduct the annual financial audit for the County and Constitutional Officers. (Transferred to the Regular Agenda.) (Part A was voted on separately.) ACTION: (T-1:22 PM) The Board approved appointment of all County Commissioners, excluding Commissioner Furr, to the Auditor selection committee. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.) VOTE: 7-0. Vice-Mayor McKinzie and Commissioner Rogers were not present during the vote. B. MOTION TO APPROVE following constitutional officer appointments to the Committee: Clerk of Courts Brenda D. Forman, Property Appraiser Marty Kiar, Sheriff Gregory Tony, Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott, and Tax Collector Abbey Ajayi. (Transferred to the Regular Agenda.) (Parts B and C were voted on concurrently.) ACTION: (T-1:22 PM) Approved. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.) VOTE: 7-0. Vice-Mayor McKinzie and Commissioner Rogers were not present during the vote. C. MOTION TO APPOINT AND APPROVE County Auditor Bob Melton as financial advisor to the Committee.
