MOTION TO DIRECT County Attorney’s Office to prepare an Ordinance amending the Broward County Local Provider Participation Fund Ordinance to update the assessment structure to address potential Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) waiver-related hospital exemptions and to expand the authorized use of assessment proceeds for additional Medicaid Supplemental Payment programs, including CMS-authorized managed care quality incentive programs.
