MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution to place a proposed amendment to the Broward County Charter on the ballot for the November 3, 2026, General Election, which, if approved by the electorate, would amend Section 8.11 of the Broward County Charter to allow for alternative methods for approving plats, the title of which is as follows: (Sponsored by Commissioner Lamar P. Fisher) A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR A REFERENDUM ELECTION AT THE GENERAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 3, 2026, TO DETERMINE WHETHER TO AMEND THE BROWARD COUNTY CHARTER TO ALLOW FOR ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF APPROVING PLATS; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
