FITCE - COMMISSIONER ROGERS ACTION: (T-12:46 PM) Commissioner Rogers advocated for the inclusion of foreign trade zones during the Florida International Trade & Cultural Expo in order to promote resources and assets available to enhance businesses coming into Broward County. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.) In response to Commissioner Rogers, County Attorney Andrew Meyers requested that Commissioner involvement be coordinated through the County Attorney’s Office. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.) In response to prior discussion, County Administrator Monica Cepero advised that the same foreign trade zone engagement and tours will continue as previously coordinated through staff and OESBD, including an annual report which will also be distributed.
