A. MOTION TO RATIFY amendment to the Broward County HUD Five Year Strategic Consolidated Plans for Fiscal Years 2020-2024 and the accompanying Annual Action Plans for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") Community Planning and Development Grants as provided in Exhibit 1; and authorize the County Administrator to make necessary project/activity eligibility and programmatic changes to reprogram funds and revise the Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG Grant”) based on Exhibit 1; to take necessary administrative and budgetary actions for implementation of the changes; to submit a copy of the amendment to HUD; and to negotiate and execute agreements, amendments, reinstatements, and interlocal agreements with subrecipients, and/or contractors/developers to implement the programs and allocate funding for the respective programs, subject to the review and approval as to legal sufficiency by the Office of the County. B. MOTION TO APPROVE Reinstatement and Second Amendment to Agreement between Broward County and BHP Community Land Trust, Inc. for Funding and Administration of FYs 2019-2024 CARES Act Community Development Block Grant Program - (CDBG-CV) and Community Development Block Grant Program - (CDBG) (CFDA # 14.218 / FAIN # B-20-UW-12-0001), dated July 26, 2023, as amended by a First Amendment dated July 17, 2024 (Exhibit 2), allocating CDBG Grant funding in the amount of $600,000 for acquisition and/or rehabilitation of affordable rental units, and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute same.
