FLOODING - COMMISSIONER GELLER ACTION: (T-12:53 PM) Commissioner Geller reported meeting with the South Florida Water Management District, the US Department of Interior, US Army Corps of Engineers, Chief Climate Resilience Officer Dr. Jennifer Jurado and State Cabinet officials at the salinity control barrier on 441 in order to impress upon the state and federal government the importance of receiving assistance in order to stop inevitable flooding.
