MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to execute Agreement between Broward County and Legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc., in the amount of $125,000, for the provision of legal assistance to reduce family separation associated with immigration detainers, effective October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024, subject to review and approval for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney; authorize the County Administrator to execute amendments to the Agreement, subject to review and approval for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney, that do not impose additional financial obligation on the County; and authorize the County Administrator to take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement the Agreement.
