MAYOR'S REPORT A. ECONOMIC SUMMIT ACTION: (T-1:23 PM) Mayor Rich discussed speaking at the Florida Chamber Foundation’s 2024 Florida Prosperity Economic Opportunity Solutions Summit in Coral Springs with her remarks focusing on what Broward is doing in affordable housing, homelessness and working toward solutions to address these issues. GRANTEE RECEPTION ACTION: (T-1:25 PM) Mayor Rich relayed being pleased to attend the Cultural Division’s Annual Grantee Reception with Commissioner Geller and noted the importance of recognizing all cultural aspects. THANK YOU ACTION: (T-1:26 PM) Mayor Rich thanked County Administrator Monica Cepero for having the meet and greet for the three finalists for Port Director and noted the professional nature of the search as well as the caliber of the candidates who attended.
