FORT LAUDERDALE COMMUNICATION - MAYOR FURR ACTION: (T-12:48 PM) Mayor Furr discussed a letter sent to the City of Fort Lauderdale in connection with the Commuter Rail Project. BOARD RETREAT - MAYOR FURR ACTION: (T-12:49 PM) Mayor Furr noted that the upcoming Board Retreat is an opportunity to bring forth priorities for discussion and promoted preparation. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.) WORKSHOP - MAYOR FURR ACTION: (T-12:50 PM) Mayor Furr thanked everyone for their attendance at the State of the County Board Workshop. PLANNING COUNCILS - MAYOR FURR ACTION: (T-12:50 PM) Mayor Furr discussed a joint meeting of Regional Planning Councils in which there was agreement to send a letter to the Secretary of Transportation in regard to Tri-Rail budget and consensus in relation to an EPA coral reef management plan.
