2. <span style='margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;margin:0in;'><span style="font-size:19px;">*Chairman Micari to Karen Green of ADACC: I am pleased to inform you that the Bristol Commission for Persons with Disabilities is sponsoring an Information Forum on Saturday, October 17th, 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM at the Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, Bristol CT 06010. TOPIC: Sensory Information Awareness--What Is It Like To Be Deaf in a Hearing World? What Is It Like To Be Blind in a Sighted World? I am inviting you to this FORUM and requesting that you "spread the word." I will forward a Flier as soon as it is ready.*Chairman Micari to Dr. Everett Lyons, Bristol Lions Club President:Thanks again for agreeing to speak at our September 9th Commission meeting. I would also like to reach out to Bristol Lions, to serve as a "Co-Sponsor" along with Bristol Rotary, of our October 17th Sensory Information Forum. (Forum information included.) Please consider assisting the Commission with a $300.00 grant to defray the costs of American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters at the forum. I would be happy to discuss this request in greater detail.
