1. Request for approval of Child Support Services Purchase of Services Intergovernmental Agreement with Montrose County:
2. The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) may discuss, deliberate, and select a sole finalist candidate for the County Manager position, pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402(3.5) and C.R.S. 30-11-107(1)(n), subject to: (1) completion of a background check and reference check by the Executive Recruiter, Danielle Noble with Peckham & McKenney; (2) successful contractual negotiations between the sole finalist candidate, the County Attorney, and the Executive Recruiter, with a County Manager contract; and (3) BOCC approval and authorization of a County Manager contract with the sole finalist candidate, at the earliest available opportunity. This discussion may further include transitional logistics for the County Manager position.
3. The BOCC may authorize the County Attorney, in conjunction with the Executive Recruiter and human resources, to: (1) engage in contractual negotiations with the sole finalist candidate for the County Manager position; (2) prepare a draft County Manager contract for further BOCC approval and authorization at the earliest available opportunity; and (3) issue a conditional offer letter if necessary.
4. Executive Session for Contractual Negotiations (if necessary): The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) may convene into an Executive Session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b) and (f) for a conference with legal counsel, human resources, and the Executive Recruiter, to discuss the following items: receive legal advice on specific legal questions, determine positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, develop strategy for negotiations, and/or instruct negotiators, for salary and other contractual terms for any potential County manager contract and transitional logistics.
