- SUBJECT: Construction Contract and Construction Inspection Consultant Agreement for the 2023 Water Main Replacement Project, CIP 22-04RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. _____, to: (1) Approve the reallocation of $1,100,000 of Sewer Enterprise Funds from 2023 Water Main Replacement Project, CIP 22-04, to the Annual Sewer Repair and Replacement Project, CIP 08-21; (2) Approve the reallocation of $100,000 of Water Enterprise Funds from the Water System Leak Detection, Maintenance & Repairs Project, CIP 09-23, to the 2023 Water Main Replacement Project, CIP 22-04 (3) Award a construction contract in the amount of $2,522,593.00 to RJ Gordon Construction, Inc. for the 2023 Water Main Replacement Project, CIP 22-04, and authorize a contract contingency of up to 10% ($252,259), and (4) Approve a consultant agreement for construction inspection services with UNICO Engineering in an amount up to $209,015.95, authorize a contingency of up to 10% ($20,902), and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement.
