Authorizing the Police Department to accept the 2021 Homeland Security Grant in the amount of $46,341 for the purchase of five (5) portable all-band radios; and<br>2. Authorizing the City Manager to appropriate $46,341 to the Other Federal Grants Fund (330) for the purchase of the awarded equipment.
2. SUBJECT: 2023 Weed AbatementRECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. ______, to declare weeds on certain lots and parcels within the city of woodland to be a public nuisance and order the proceedings to abate said public nuisances.
3. SUBJECT: 2022 Behavioral Health Justice Intervention Services Supplemental Grant Award<br><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No._____,1. Authorizing the Police Department to accept the 2022 Behavioral Health Justice Intervention Services (BHJIS) supplemental grant award for $18,000; and<br>2. Authorizing the City Manager to appropriate $18,000 in the Other Federal Grants Fund (330) during the 9-month grant period extension.
