Authorizing the Police Department to accept the FY23/24 CHP Can­nabis Tax Fund Grant award in the amount of $30,352.56; and<br>2. Authorizing the City Manager to appropriate $30,352.56 in the Other Federal Grants Fund (1330) during the one-year grant period.

SUBJECT: Update Spring Lake Capital Improvement Plan and Award Construction Contract for South Canal Storm Ditch Widening Project, CIP 24-07<br><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council:<br>1) Hold a Public Hearing;<br>2) Adopt Resolution No. _____, to:<div data-empty="true">a) Create a new capital project, South Canal Storm Ditch Widening Project,</div><div data-empty="true" style="margin-left: 20px;">CIP #24-07</div><div data-empty="true">b) Approve the update to the Spring Lake Capital Improvement Plan,</div><div data-empty="true" style="margin-left: 20px;">appropriating $350,000 in Spring Lake Infrastructure – Storm Drain</div><div data-empty="true" style="margin-left: 20px;">funding (Fund 1681) to the South Canal Storm Ditch Widening Project,</div><div data-empty="true" style="margin-left: 20px;">CIP 24-07</div><div data-empty="true">c) Approve the reallocation of $120,000 of Legacy Disposal Site Grant fundsin State of California grant funding - CalRecycle (Fund 1325) to the SouthCanal Storm Ditch Widening Project, CIP 24-07 to provide a portion of theconstruction budgetd) Approve the reallocation of $110,000 of Spring Lake Infrastructure - StormDrain funding (Fund 1681) from the South Area Flowage Easement Project,CIP 19-14 to the South Canal Storm Ditch Widening Project, CIP 24-07 toprovide a portion of the construction budgete) Award a construction contract in the amount of $451,669 to ArizaConstruction, Inc. for the South Canal Storm Ditch Widening Project,CIP #24-07, and authorize a contract contingency of up to 15%($67,750).
