SUBJECT: Authorize sole-source contracts for the purchase of replacement Sensus SmartPoint Water Meters, Radio Transceivers and Subscription Service.<br><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. _____, authorizing the City Manager to execute sole-source contracts for the purchase of replacement Sensus SmartPoint Water Meters, Radio Transceivers and the annual Subscription Service with AquaMetrics in a total amount not-to-exceed $200,000.00 increasing 5% annually.
2. SUBJECT: Authorization of Appropriation Funds from Water Fund Balance to Replace the Water Distribution Crane Truck and Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into a Contract with Woodland Ford for its Purchase.<br><br>RECOMMENDTION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. _____, authorizing the appropriation of $309,725 from Water Enterprise Fund (2210) and the same $309,725 from the Equipment Replacement Fund (2012) where funds will be spent to replace the crane truck #4-002 and authorize entering into a contract with Woodland Ford for its purchase.
