1. SUBJECT: FY2024 Police Replacement Vehicle Purchase<br><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. _____, (1) affirming the City Manager's determination that the City’s public bidding requirement could be dispensed with for the purchase of thirteen replacement vehicles by utilizing the Statewide Contract for Fleet Vehicles; (2) authorizing the Police Department to purchase thirteen replacement vehicles; and (3) authorizing the City Manager to appropriate $24,112 from the General Fund (1101) as a transfer to the Vehicle Replacement Fund (2012) and appropriate the same $24,112 in the Vehicle Replacement Fund (2012) to record the expense of these vehicles.
