1. SUBJECT: Agreement Renewal with Advance Peace for Gun Violence Reduction Program Services to the City<br><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. _____(1) authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement renewal with Advance Peace for gun violence reduction program services in the amount not to exceed $200,000 per year and (2) authorizing the City Manager to carry forward $100,000 appropriated in FY23 to FY24 in Measure R (Fund 1102) to close out the initial Advance Peace contract.
2. SUBJECT: Authorize Purchase of a Replacement Public Works Utilities Vehicle and Appropriation of Funds for Same<br id="isPasted"><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. _____, authorizing the purchase of a replacement for vehicle 3-004 and appropriating $83,727.45 from the Equipment Replacement Fund (2012) and $6,722.59 from the Water Enterprise Fund (2210) for its purchase.
3. SUBJECT: Authorize Purchase of a Ford Lightning for the Public Works Water Division and Appropriation of Funds for Same<br id="isPasted"><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION:<strong> </strong>Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. _____, authorizing the purchase of an electric Ford Lightning for the Public Works Water Division and appropriating $64,082.39 in the Water Enterprise Fund and $64,082.39 in the Equipment Replacement Fund for its purchase.
4. SUBJECT: Multiple Police Grant Award Appropriations RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. <u> </u>authorizing the City Manager to appropriate $200,720.52 to Fund 1330 for the purchase of the awarded items and services.
5. SUBJECT: Installation of Charging Infrastructure at the Municipal Service Center for Public Works Fleet UseRECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. _____, authorizing Public Works staff to purchase and install electric vehicle charging infrastructure and the Municipal Service Center (MSC).
6. SUBJECT: County Road 25A (Parkland Ave. to Miekle Ave.) Improvement Project, CIP 24-05; Appropriate additional SLIF funds, Authorize Construction Contract Award, Approve Construction Management & Inspection Contract, and Approve Design Contract AmendmentRECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. _____, to 1.) Appropriate $4,550,000 in Spring Lake Infrastructure – Roads funding (Fund 682) for the Project; and2.) Approve a construction contract for the County Road 25A (Parkland Ave to Miekle Ave) Project, CIP 24-05; award the construction contract in an amount not to exceed $3,400,000 to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder; authorize a contract contingency up to 15% ($511,000); and authorize the City Manager to execute the construction contract and change orders; and<br>3.) Approve a consultant services contract amendment for design with Cunningham Engineering in the amount of $25,000 for a total agreement amount of $166,100 and authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment; and4.) Approve a consultant services agreement for construction management and inspection services with Associated Engineering Consultants, Inc. in the amount of $337,036.00; authorize a contract contingency up to 15% ($50,555); and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and amendments.
