SUBJECT: Award Construction Contract for 2025 Road Maintenance Project, CIP 25-02RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends the City Council adopt Resolution No. ______, 1) Approving a construction contract for the 2025 Road Maintenance Project, CIP 25-02 (Project); awarding the construction contract in the amount of $1,108,407.50 to JV Lucas Paving, Inc.; authorizing a contract contingency up to 15% ($166,261.13); and authorizing the City Manager to execute the construction contract and change orders; and 2) Approving a consultant services agreement for construction management and inspection services with Associated Engineering Consultants, Inc., in the amount of $208,330.00; authorizing a contract contingency up to 15% ($31,249.50); and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement and amendments.
