1. SUBJECT: Fire Station #4 – Approve Owner’s Representative Contract with Kitchell<br><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. _____ to authorize the City Manager to execute a Consultant Agreement with Kitchell in an amount not to exceed $850,000 and approve a contract contingency of 15% (127,500) for owner’s representative services for the progressive design-build project to construct Fire Station #4 (CIP #16-10).
2. SUBJECT: Allocate Funding and Authorize a Contract Amendment for the Grit System and Screw Pump Rehabilitation Project, CIP 24-12.RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. _____ to:1. Reallocate $100,000 from the WPCF Asset Replacement Project, CIP 14-02, to the Grit System and Screw Pump Rehabilitation Project, CIP 24-12, also known as the WPCF Influent Pump Station and Grit Facility Improvements Project, and 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to the professional services agreement with West Yost for the Grit System and Screw Pump Rehabilitation Project, CIP 24-12, for an additional amount up to $194,906 and up to 10% total contract contingency ($54,783).
3. SUBJECT: Approval of a Contract for Fire Station 3 Alerting System ReplacementRECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. ___, authorizing the replacement of the Fire Station 3 Alerting System and approving a contract with US Digital Designs by Honeywell, in the amount of $151,804.27, for the purchase, installation, and integration of the new system.
4. SUBJECT: Authorization to Purchase a Crane Truck and Appropriate Funds in the Sewer Enterprise Fund (2220) and the Vehicle Replacement Fund (2012)<br><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. ___:<br id="isPasted"><ol start="1" type="1"><li>Approving the purchase of a Crane Truck for the Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) in the amount of $300,000;</li><li>Approving the appropriation of $300,000 from the Sewer Enterprise Fund (2220) and the transfer of those same funds into the Vehicle Replacement Fund (2012);</li><li>Approving the appropriation of $300,000 in the Vehicle Replacement Fund (2012) for the purchase of the WPCF Crane Truck; and</li><li>Authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to complete the purchase through Inland Kenworth (US) Inc. via the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing program.
5. SUBJECT: Amendment to Previously Approved Vehicle Purchase for Community Services Department's New Pool and Recreation Facilities Technician Position – Change in Vehicle Type and Total Cost<br><br>RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No ___:<ol><li>Authorizing the purchase of a Ford Lightning electric truck to support the maintenance operations of the Woodland Aquatic Center and other recreation facilities, as opposed to the vehicle previously approved by Council for the Pool and Recreation Facilities Technician position;</li><li>Approving an increase in the total purchase amount from $40,000 to $62,000;</li><li>Approving the appropriation of an additional $22,000 in the Vehicle Replacement Fund (2012); and </li><li>Authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to complete the purchase.
