- Ratify the Director of Transportation's signature on Contract Change Order 1 to the agreement with Truesdell Corp of Ca, Inc., increasing the contract by $19,930 for additional recessed reflectors on the Rush Creek Road High Friction Surface Treatment project.
- Approve amendment number 2 to the agreement with the California Department of Public Health, increasing the contract by $51,016.89 for 2024/2025 for implementing the "Moving California Oral Health Forward" project.
- Take the following actions regarding the Emergency Storm Damage Repair on Ruth-Zenia PM 18.75 County Project No. 24-0258:A. Adopt the plans and specifications for the CA24-4 storm damage repair Ruth-Zenia PM 18.75, County Project No. 24-0258; andB. Authorize the Director of Transportation to sign the Notice to Contractors; andC. Authorize the Department of Transportation to advertise for competitive bids; andD. Authorize the Director of Transportation to execute a construction contract and related documents with the lowest responsive bidder, provided the contract amount does not exceed available project funds, reduce scope of work to stay within available funds or to reject all bids; andE. Authorize the Director of Transportation to approve all construction change orders up to 10% of the bid amount, provided the contract amount does not exceed available funds for the project.
- CALL TO ORDER
- Approve amendment number 1 to the agreement with the California Department of Justice, allowing their laboratories to commence drug analysis immediately when no alcohol content is suspected, thus bypassing the otherwise-required testing for alcohol. This change will streamline the analytical process, minimize turn-around times, and decrease backlogs when providing DUI analysis services.
