On February 4, 2024, Governor Gavin Newsom proclaimed a State of Emergency for eight counties in Southern California, including Los Angeles County, as a series of winter storms began impacting much of the State with high winds, damaging rain, and heavy snowfall. As of February 6, 2024, the City of Signal Hill experienced significant damage to the Panorama Promenade resulting from the winter storms associated with the emergency. The Public Works Director will provide an update on the status of the Panorama Promenade trail.
