Consider recommendations regarding adopting an oppose position on the Federal Hunt Amendment, as follows: a) Adopt a position to oppose the “Hunt Amendment” in Congressional House of Representatives (H.R.) 8800, National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027; and b) Find that the proposed action is an organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment and is therefore not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines 14 CCR 15378(b)(5).
