Consider recommendations regarding an Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) Grant Agreement for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2026-2027 for Intensive Probation Supervision for High-Risk Felony and Repeat Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Offenders, as follows: a) Authorize the Chief Probation Officer to execute the Grant Award Agreement with California OTS for Intensive Probation Supervision for High-Risk Felony and Repeat DUI Offenders and accept the grant funding for the FFY 2026-2027 in the amount of $212,000.00 for the period covering October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027; and b) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms that do not involve any commitment to any specific project that may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA guidelines.
