Consider recommendations regarding a Position Allocation Update for the Sheriff’s Office for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027 as follows: a) Adopt an amendment to the Salary Resolution effective July 1, 2026, to correctly reflect five (5) additional budgeted positions in the Sheriff’s Office for FY 2026-2027; and b) Determine that the above actions are not projects under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections 15378(b)(4) and 15378(b)(5) because they consist of government administrative or fiscal activities that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
