Consider recommendations regarding an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Technologent, Inc., for the purchase of County Dell Isilon file server infrastructure, warranty, support, and implementation services, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Technologent, Inc. for the procurement of server hardware and implementation services beginning July 15, 2025, through July 14, 2030, for a base contract amount of $449,042.94; b) Approve and authorize the Chief Information Officer to Amend the Agreement to extend the Term of the Agreement for up to an aggregate of six (6) additional months; c) Approve and authorize the Chief Information Officer or his designee to order additional products, deliverables, and services, at the rates specified for such products, deliverables and services in the Agreement, and to approve funding to account for additional sales tax under the Agreement, in an amount not to exceed $44,904.29; and d) Determine that the above recommended action is a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project that may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment and is therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines.
