Consider recommendations regarding an Agreement with Dignity Health dba Marian Regional Medical Center related to the drug discount program established under Section 340B of the Public Health Services Act, as follows: a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement with Dignity Health dba Marian Regional Medical Center to memorialize Marian Regional Medical Center’s commitment to provide services to the indigent population, which is a pre-requisite for participation in the drug discount program established under Section 340B of the Public Health Services Act, for the period of June 1, 2025 through May 31, 2030; and b) Determine that the proposed action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5) of the CEQA Guidelines, because it consists of organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
