Consider recommendations regarding a Waiver of Competitive Bidding for Automated External Defibrillators from AED One Stop Shop for Fiscal Year 2023-2024, as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the County Purchasing Agent, pursuant to County Code section 2-39, to issue a purchase order for Automated External Defibrillators from AED One Stop Shop for a total purchase amount not to exceed $25,114.39, without being required to conduct a formal competitive bid process; and b) Determine that the proposed actions do not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is exempt pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5) of the CEQA Guidelines, because it is an administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
