Consider recommendations regarding the acceptance of grant funding from the State of California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) for increased law enforcement to reduce criminal activity involving alcohol, as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Sheriff or designee to execute a Grant Agreement with ABC for the Alcoholic Policing Partnership Program for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 in the amount of $50,000.00; and b) Determine that the proposed action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to 14 CCR 15378(b)(4), in that it is a government fiscal or funding activity that will not result in direct or indirect changes in the environment.
