Consider recommendations regarding amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, as follows: a) Approve amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association for terms and conditions of employment through June 21, 2026 as set forth in the side letter agreement; and b) Determine that the above actions are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4) and (5) since the recommended actions are government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
