Consider recommendations regarding a Request for Waiver of Competition for the purchase of GE Medical Systems, Ultrasound and Primary Care Diagnostics, LLC Ultrasound machines, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the County Purchasing Agent, pursuant to County Code section 2-39, to procure three (3) ultrasound machines from GE Medical Systems, Ultrasound and Primary Care Diagnostics, LLC in the total amount of $84,843.00 without being required to conduct a formal bid process through June 30, 2024; and b) Determine that the proposed action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5) of the CEQA Guidelines, because is an administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
