Consider recommendations regarding 2024 Flood Control Projects Authority to Advertise, First District, as follows: Acting as the Board of Directors, Flood Control and Water Conservation District: a) Authorize the Public Works Director to advertise and receive bids for the following projects: i) Cieneguitas Channel Repair Project (Project No. 24STM1-SC13); ii) Lower Mission Creek Reach 2B-2 Debris Rack Repair Project (Project No. 23STM1-S05C); and iii) Lower Mission Creek Flood Control Project Reach 4 - Access (Project No. SC8042); and b) Determine that the advertising for and receipt of bids is an administrative and fiscal activity which will not result in changes in the environment and therefore the action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b).
