Consider recommendations regarding a Quitclaim for County-owned Fee Interest in City of Goleta Mathilda Park (Folio 004077), Second District, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute Quitclaim Deed releasing any and all County rights, title, use and interest in the real property, commonly known as Mathilda Park located in the City of Goleta; and b) Find that the above action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) and 15378(b)(5), finding that the action does not qualify as a “project” for the purposes of CEQA because the action will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment and there is no possibility the action will have a significant effect on the environment.
