Consider approval of either outside counsel budget of $1,078,205 for retention of Jennifer M. Rosner at Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, to serve as associated counsel in the case of Mendonca et al. v. City of Riverside, Riverside Superior Court Case No. CVRI2305672 and authorize City Attorney execute Outside Counsel Engagement Letter or reallocate $220,855 from the Liability Trust Fund Outside Legal Services Account to the Liability Trust Fund Charges From Others Account to hire two additional Senior Deputy City Attorneys, one Paralegal, and two Legal Secretaries to handle this matter and other matters currently being handled by outside counsel - Five affirmative votes required (City Attorney) (All Wards) (10-minute presentation)
