Discussion Regarding Replacement of Two Crossing Guard Locations in Current Contract It is recommended that the City Council provide direction related to the following: 1) Utilize the adopted 2022 School Crossing Guard Study, prioritize filling future School Crossing Guard locations: a. Prioritize Simons Middle School (San Antonio and Franklin) and Vejar Elementary School (White and Grand) as the current two crossing guard location vacancies within the Police Department’s contract; and b. Authorize the City Manager to update any policies or procedures to reflect utilization of the 2022 School Crossing Guard Study to determine future crossing guard locations.
