Resolution to Amend the FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget by Appropriating $140,000 of District 4 American Rescue Plan (ARP) Funds and Approve Amendments to the Construction Contract for “ADA Curb Ramps and Path of Travel - Citywide (CDBG) (FY 22-23),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67939 It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1) Adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 2024-52 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $140,000 OF DISTRICT 4 AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) FUNDS TO “ADA CURB RAMPS AND PATH OF TRAVEL - CITYWIDE (CDBG) (FY 22-23),” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-67939 AND CHANGING THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION 2) Authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute amendments to the construction contract/agreement with Garcon Construction, Inc. and related documents, or contract with others as needed for additional ADA curb ramps and path of travel improvements, in the amount of $140,000; and 3) Approve an increase of contingency capacity from City standard of 25% to 50% for the Garcon Construction, Inc. contract for “ADA Curb Ramps and Path of Travel - Citywide (CDBG) (FY 22-23),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67939.
