- Awareness and concurrence of Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship through the Recreation Economy for Rural Communities (RERC) program, to apply for the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) Rural Outdoor Recreation and Health Grant Program in partnership with RERC and with the support of Plumas County, for signage and wayfinding to improve safe, inclusive, and convenient access to the outdoors, directly impacting Goal 1: Recreation, Action 1.1 to Develop a community sign plan for recreation opportunities around Quincy and install kiosks. The ORR would award up to $15,000 in grants and $1,000 in in-kind assistance to support work, due on July 10, 2026; discussion, staff direction, and/or possible action.
