Subject: Homeless Intervention Programming Year 2024 From: Human Services Department Recommendation: Adopt A Resolution (1) Appropriating Funds From The Touraine Hotel Lease Revenues Received In Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025 And Accepting And Appropriating $100,000 In Local Housing Assistance Program (LHAP) Funding From Oakland Housing Authority (OHA); (2) Awarding Grant Agreements To Non-Profit Agencies Identified In Tables 1 And 2 To Continue The Continuum Of Care (COC) And Oakland Path Rehousing Initiative (OPRI) Programs Through The Terms Identified Below, Using Local Measure Q And General Purpose Funds And Up To $10,081,268 From U.S. Department Of Housing And Urban Development (HUD), Alameda County Social Services Agency (SSA) And OHA As Appropriated By Ordinance No. 13759; (3) Awarding And Amending Grant And/Or Professional Services Agreements To The Non-Profit Agencies, For The Terms, And In The Amounts Identified In Table 3; (4) Accepting And Appropriating $140,000 From Alameda County SSA And Authorizing The City Administrator To Award City And County Winter Shelter Funds To Nonprofits Identified Through An RFQ Process To Provide Shelter And Supportive Services To The Unsheltered Homeless Population; And (5) Accepting And Appropriating Additional Grant Funds That Become Available For The Same Purposes Within Both FY 2024-2025 And FY 2025-2026 And Authorizing The City Administrator To Amend The Grant Agreements To Adjust The Grant Terms And Amounts Within The Limits Of The Awards
