The project consists of the removal of the existing 70' x 4" sign and removal of three (3) strings of the batteries; and proposal of a new location and installation of a 70' x 4" sign structure that would include 12 new antennas screened within the sign and installation of five (5) new strings of batteries. The property is located at 11400 Merritt Street, Castroville (Assessor's Parcel Number 030-281-023-000), at the intersection of Merritt Street (Highway 183) and Haro Street, North County Area Plan.
