a. Authorize the Department of Emergency Management to receive an award and execute Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City and County of San Francisco to receive FY2024 Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) Grant Funds; and b. Approve and authorize the County of Monterey Department of Emergency Management to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the City and County of San Francisco accepting a grant award of $74,173 for procurement of equipment and implementation of the Fiscal Year 2024 Urban Areas Security Initiative grant for the grant performance period of April 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026; and c. Authorize the Director of Emergency Management, or designee, to carry out all grant-related activities, including submission of reimbursement requests.
