Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(1), the Board will confer with legal counsel regarding existing litigation: (1) Macaluso, et al. v. County of Monterey, et al. (Monterey County Superior Court of California, Case No. 24CV00362) (2) Ida Ward, et al. v. County of Monterey, et al. (Monterey County Superior Court of California, Case No. 21CV002874) b. Pursuant to Government Code section 54957(b)(1), the Board will confer regarding recruitment/appointment for the position of Auditor-Controller.
