a. Reappoint and approve a four-year employment agreement for the Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner and Sealer of Weights & Measures; b. Authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to execute the proposed employment agreement between the County of Monterey and the Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner; c. Amend Personnel Policies and Practices Resolution (PPPR) Number 98-394 Appendix A and B to adjust the salary range of the Agricultural Commissioner classification effective February 6, 2027, as indicated in Attachment B; d. Authorize subsequent annual adjustments of 2.5% for the Agricultural Commissioner classification, effective February 5, 2028, February 3, 2029, and February 2, 2030, consistent with the terms of the approved employment agreement; and, e. Direct the Human Resources Department and the Auditor-Controller’s Office to implement the changes in the Advantage Human Resources Management (HRM) System.
