a. Approve and authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign an agreement with Honeywell International Inc. for preventative maintenance, repair and maintenance services for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment and systems and Honeywell Enterprise Building Integrator (EBI) equipment and systems for Monterey County Department of Social Services 1281 Broadway, Seaside facility for the period of March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027, in the amount of $40,000 including nonstandard indemnification and liability provisions; and b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign up to three amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($4,000) of the amended contract amount, do not significantly change the scope of work, and do not exceed the maximum aggregate amount of $44,000.
