a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute a Renewal and Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with First Alarm for the provision of on-going building security system monitoring and equipment monitoring services, for the Health Department Administration building located at 1270 Natividad Road, Salinas, California, adding $37,833 for a new total Agreement amount of $76,223 and extending the term an additional three (3) years for a new term of April 1, 2022 through January 31, 2028; b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign up to two (2) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($3,839) of the original Agreement amount, do not significantly alter the scope of work, and do not exceed the maximum amount of $80,062; and c. Approve and authorize the Contracts and Purchasing Officer or their designee to execute future Amendments to the agreement where the Amendments do not significantly change the scope of work, do not exceed an aggregate amount of $200,000, and fall within the signing authority of the Contracts and Purchasing Officer.
