a. Accept a Children’s Crisis Continuum Pilot Program (“CCCPP”) grant award, in the amount of $3,650,000 from the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), to assist in developing a highly integrated continuum of services designed to serve foster youth who are in crisis for a retroactive term of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2028; and b. Authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to execute the Standard Grant Agreement, Number ALLOC-23-0004, between the County of Monterey (“County”) and the CDSS, for professional services to be performed by County, in the total amount of $3,650,000, for the retroactive term beginning July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2028; and c. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed 10% of the original Grant Agreement amount ($365,000), do not exceed $4,015,000 in total, and do not significantly change the scope of services; and d. Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services to take any actions necessary to implement the grant award.
