- LINCOLN AVENUE AND WILCOX AVENUE (NEAR WILCOX ELEMENTARY AND SCHURR HIGH SCHOOL)September 7, 2022 In response to PD request (Trevor Morgan), staff made changes to signal timing at the intersection to bring pedestrian clearance into compliance (3.5 ft/sec), and increase all-red interval to 1 second from 0.5 sec. <br><br>April 30, 2023<br>Public Works received a proposal from KOA for Traffic Calming Services on Wilcox Ave from Va Campo to Lincoln Ave. The engineering study includes the preparation of a conceptual design to address vehicular and pedestrian safety along the corridor. The corridor is generally congested with the mall and Shurr high school pick-up and drop-off traffic. The intersection of Wilcox and Hay Street also carries a high volume of students crossing in the morning and in the afternoon.
