Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a contract between the County of Modoc and Modoc County Arts Council, Inc. for community engagement activities related to tobacco prevention and control, not to exceed $4,999.00, effective May 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.
3. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a contract between the County of Modoc and California Department of Public Health for implementation of lead prevention activities, not to exceed $134,000.00, effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028.
4. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a contract between the County of Modoc and Tiny Mighty and Strong for community engagement activities related to tobacco prevention and control, not to exceed $4,999.00, effective May 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.
5. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a contract between the County of Modoc and the Newell County Water District for ten (10) years, not to exceed a monthly rental amount of $300.00 with a monthly power rate of $100.00 from March 1 to October 31 and a monthly power rate of $125.00 from November 1 to February 28, effective April 1, 2026, through February 28, 2026.
6. Requesting approval to award the bid to Heaton Steel & Supply, Inc. for the Metal Roofing Package to purchase the roofing supplies for the building located at 535 S. Main Street, Alturas, not to exceed $10,196.31.
7. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a Participation Agreement Amendment between the County of Modoc and California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA) for the State Hospital Program, not to exceed $1,402.00, effective June 30, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
8. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a Participation Agreement Amendment No. 1 between the County of Modoc and California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA) for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) Performance Measurement Program Measurement Year 2025 (MY2025)/Reporting Year 2026 (RY2026), effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029.
9. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign the commercial lease between Modoc County Air Pollution Control District and The Lamar Companies, not to exceed $2,000.00 per year, effective June 1, 2026 through June 1, 2031.
